The rope race is an integral part of Hochfügen – just as indispensable as winter sports in the Zillertal.
For nearly 60 years, three skiers have been tying themselves together with a rope to tackle the race course as a team. By now, not only adults but also children and many teenagers participate with enthusiasm.
We are thrilled about the 59th edition of the rope race on April 13, 2025! Together with you, the fans and guests, we want to experience a sporty and joyful final race – and thereby bid a fitting farewell to the winter season.

The race will take place on the Waidoffen 11 slope starting at 09:30 AM
Anyone can participate in the Hochfügen rope race. Adult teams can start in the Mixed Trio race class (with at least one lady per team) or in the "Fast Trio" class.Children's teams can start in a total of three classes.
